Deleting Domains

When you delete a domain, you also delete all existing mappings in the domain. Application servers having virtual volumes mapped to them may lose access to their data. You cannot delete a domain designated as a default domain. In the Domains folder, the default domain name is followed by an asterisk.

To delete a domain from your SAN, follow these steps:

  1. In SANmanager, click the Domains and Groups tab.

  2. In the left pane, expand the  Domains folder.

  3. Select the domain to delete and choose Delete from the context menu.

  4. Click OK.

  5. Apply the configuration changes.
