Joining a Region
Storage servers that need to know about each other and share static and dynamic configuration information must be members of the same region. If the local storage server is not currently in a region, follow these steps to join a region:

In the SANcentral interface, from the Menu bar, select Actions.

In the Actions menu, select Region.

In the Region menu, select Join a Region.

In the Join Region box, enter a region name, and click OK.

In the Status bar, the region name that was joined will be reflected, as shown below.
