Inventory Tab

The Inventory tab provides access to physical information about the components in your SAN, including storage servers, management consoles, application servers, physical disks, fibre channel adapters, hubs, switches, and routers.

The Edit menu allows you to add hubs, routers, or switches to your Inventory tab. You can also change bitmaps for existing components.  In the Properties dialog box of an existing component, you can add links to external programs that manage the fibre channel hubs, routers, and switches. These links may point to installed application software, Web URLs—anything that can be opened by double-clicking it.

The Inventory tab provides several different views of information in the right panes depending on the element selected in the left pane. Following is one view— of physical component information for a selected storage server.
