Network Viewer
Network Viewer allows you to create a diagram view of your current network and modify the diagram, while providing useful information about network components. This tool makes configuration planning and overview, a simple and easy task.
To use Network Viewer:

Navigate to SANcentral > Tools > Network Viewer.

In Network Viewer, on the Tools menu, click Configuration Map. This action collects and displays the current view of your configuration. The Configuration Map is similar to the Network Diagram (available from the Reports menu), but is dynamic.

You can now manipulate the diagram by using the tools below.

Double click a configuration element to display properties of the element. Double-click a storage server or application server to view the channels and WWNs (serial numbers) for that node. Double-click the Disks icon to display the WWNs. |

Activates a graphical menu of shapes that can be added to the configuration. Click on the shape, move the cursor to the spot in the configuration where you want to place the shape and click the mouse button. |

Activates the text tool. Click on the window where you want to enter text and then type in the text. |

Activates the connector tool which displays all the possible connections available in the window. Click on a beginning connection and move the cursor to the end point and click the mouse again to release it. |

Activates the path tool. Click on an element in the configuration to view all the possible paths. |
