Port Database

Port Database is available on the  SANcentral Tools menu. The Port Database discovers the Fibre Channel and iSCSI ports seen by all the storage servers in the network and provides information and the status of each port. (You can also access Fibre Channel information through the Fibre-Channel Manager and iSCSI information through iSCSI Manager.)

The left pane displays all configured storage servers and their associated ports in the region. Select a storage server port in the left pane, and all the ports visible to that port appear in the right pane, along with pertinent information.

To open the Port Database Help, click Help>Port Database Help in the menu bar.
