Planning a SAN Configuration

In order to successfully configure your SAN, you should understand the basic SAN components, optional products, and terminology we use in the SANsymphony environment. Review the Understanding Basics chapter for information, and consult the glossary whenever necessary for term definitions.

Before you begin your installation, read the following sections for important information to know:
