Deleting AIM Set Associations
Deleting the AIM set breaks the association between the AIM source virtual volume and the AIM destination virtual volume.
Before breaking the AIM set association, flush the source data so all pending data is transferred.
-
In AIM Source Manager, select AIM Source Volumes from the console tree in the left pane.
-
In the right pane, select the AIM set and choose Delete from the context menu.
After deleting the association, the virtual volumes can be removed as AIM set candidates in the SANmanager AIM tab, if desired. Refer to Removing AIM Set Candidates.
