Manually Enabling Snapshots
To generate a single AIM request (sent via a marker) from the AIM source server to take a snapshot of an AIM destination virtual volume:

Navigate to AIM Source Manager.

In the left pane, select AIM Source Volumes.

In the right pane, right-click on the AIM set, and select Snapshot.
You will receive a message that the snapshot request was sent and a message in the Destination Log when enabled.
