Entering a CHAP Secret in iSCSI Manager
On storage servers, CHAP secrets can be added to the iSCSI Initiator using the iSCSI Manager tool in SANsymphony Console. This topic provides the steps to add a CHAP secret to iSCSI initiators on storage servers.
To set initiator CHAP secrets on storage servers:

Open iSCSI Manager.

Select the MS iSCSI Initiator component in the console tree and choose Properties in the context menu.

In the Properties dialog box, click the Basic tab.

In the Initiator CHAP Secret area, enter the Initiator CHAP secret for the local storage server. Secrets can be 12-27 characters.

Click Save and click OK.
