Viewing the Source Log

The AIM Source Log provides a log of all the activity on the source server. Each activity entry will be categorized as INFO, WARNING, or ERROR.

  • INFO - Supplies general information.

  • WARNING - Describes a non-critical error. The AIM Source Manager is still in operation.

  • ERROR - Describes a critical error. The AIM Source Manager has stopped. Manual intervention is necessary to investigate the cause and restart the system.

To view the Source Log:

  1. Open  AIM Source Manager.

  2. In the left pane, select the AIM Source Manager component and select View Source Logfile from the context menu. The log, named AimSrc.log will open in Notepad for viewing. Most recent entries appear at the end of the file.
