Testing the Link
The Link Test option tests the communication link between the source and destination servers.
To test the link, follow these steps:

Open AIM Source Manager.

In the left pane, select AIM Source Volumes or AIM Destination Servers. (The link can be tested from either component.)

In the right pane, select an AIM set or destination server and select Link Test from the context menu. Alternatively, you can click
on the toolbar. When the test is complete, Link Up or Link Down will be displayed in the status bar.
