About the SANcentral Interface, the Monitoring GUI
The SANcentral™ interface simplifies and centralizes the management of all SAN resources to enable control of SANsymphony software. The SANcentral interface contains the tools SANsymphony software uses for management and monitoring of active storage servers.
Features of the interface include:

Monitoring of DataCore components on the local and remote computers. Presents warning and error information about components in the region.

Ability to add links to external programs that manage the Fibre Channel hubs, routers, and switches. These links may point to installed application software, Webs URLs—anything that can be “double-clicked” in the Windows Desktop.

Provides real-time information about the status of virtual volumes, storage servers, application servers, and mappings.

Performance data is acquired using the Windows Performance Monitor mechanism and error events post to the Event Viewer.

An extensive report tool to add in SAN configuration and management.
